Underground 2Underground 2 online FAQ
How to use these answers
Each question below is the short form. The linked guide has the table, the conflicting dates, and the source list. Nothing here is a download.
I kept each answer to a fact I could point at on 2026-10-28. If a number had one source, the sentence says so.
Questions
Is Underground 2 still playable online?
Not on EA servers. Browser projects and PC LAN are documented on the routes page.
Is the browser version safe?
Safety is not a single label. Read what each project hosts: Revived streams data from its server; nfsu2.org is offline; Carmeet asks for an email. This site does not audit their binaries.
Can I play with friends?
Yes, on different systems: Revived, a two-player PS2-port room, Carmeet’s city, or PC LAN. They do not share a lobby.
Is it on Steam?
A Steam search on 2026-10-28 returned other Need for Speed games and no Underground 2 store page. GOG had no Need for Speed entries that day.
Is there a remaster?
No EA remaster was on sale in the 2026-10-28 store checks. A UE5 demo exists as a separate project. See the remaster page.
How long is the career?
HowLongToBeat lists about 20.5 hours for the main story, 24 with extras, and 30 for completion. That is one site’s aggregate.
Is this Tony Hawk’s Underground 2?
No. Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 is a 2004 skateboarding game. This site is about the racing game.
