NFS Underground 2 mods

Install order

nfsu2.net’s mod page lists this sequence: patch 1.2, then the widescreen fix, then Extra Options, then an unlimiter if a car pack needs it, then cars, graphics, and HUD. PCGamingWiki is the source for “use 1.2.” Files stay on the author’s release page. Nothing in that list is stored here.

  • Widescreen: ThirteenAG WidescreenFixesPack, tag nfsu2.
  • Extra Options: ExOptsTeam build 5.1.0.1340 on nfsmods.xyz, needs the 1.2 exe.
  • underground2.net is an audio and mod site, not an online service. See its own page before you treat the name as a server.

I followed the install order printed on nfsu2.net and checked the two projects that have their own pages. I did not repack anyone’s zip.

Questions

Do mods work on the browser projects?

These packs target the retail Windows exe. The browser sites did not document loading a dinput8.dll.

Can I download the mods from this domain?

No. Use the author links in the sources.
