NFSU2 Extra Options

What the mod page claims

nfsmods.xyz mod 290 and the ExOptsTeam GitHub list version 5.1.0.1340 (Build 5.1, Rev.00). It requires the v1.2 speed2.exe. Options described there include lap counts from 0 to 127, an opponent cap of 5 (six cars total), drift multiplier up to x9, unlock-all, region-car unlocks, starting cash, a windowed mode, lights, weather, and teleport via the INI. The same page says the online menu does nothing until a server simulator exists. Installing Extra Options does not reconnect you to EA.

I opened the nfsmods.xyz mod page and the ExOptsTeam repository notes. The “online menu” line is theirs, and it matters because people install this hoping EA servers return.

Questions

Will this raise the LAN cap above six?

The mod page’s opponent cap is five, for six cars total, which matches the URL cap PCGamingWiki already lists. It does not document a larger LAN.

Where do I download it?

From nfsmods.xyz/mod/290 or the ExOptsTeam repository. Not from this site.
