These are four different sites. nfsu2.xyz (Underground 2 Revived) said on 2026-10-28 that it preloads about 1.7 GB and streams the rest. A VRacer video description from 2026-10-22 mentioned 2.0 GB on the page that day. The GitHub README for th0mk/nfsu2-web says a self-hosted build needs your own v1.2 SPEED2.EXE. Those are three statements, not one number.
nfsu2.org is single-player. Its FAQ lists an engine around 35.5 MB and full English data around 1.98 GB, plus WebGPU, 1 GiB of shared memory, and cross-origin isolation. Desktop Chrome and Edge are the browsers it names. Mobile and Safari were marked unverified there.
What to expect on the first visit
- Revived: no account on the hosted site; optional cloud save with a passphrase; free roam and online races. Player count on the page at 2026-10-28 06:47 was 4,716.
- nfsu2.org: local save you can export as JSON. No online races.
- nfsunderground2.site: experimental PS2 port, two-player rooms, virtual memory card as .ps2. Only the site itself documented this on the check date.
- Carmeet: a shared city, 29 cars, no races, email on first join, server cap of 2,000. A live headcount was not on the page.
I loaded nfsu2.xyz, nfsu2.org, nfsunderground2.site, and carmeet.lf.wtf on 2026-10-28 and copied the requirements each site printed. I did not finish a career.

Questions
Do I need the original game?
The hosted Revived, nfsu2.org, PS2-port, and Carmeet pages do not ask you to upload a disc. Building Revived yourself does, per the GitHub README.
Will my save move between sites?
No. Browser cloud, JSON export, and a .ps2 memory card are three different systems.
