Underground 2NFS Underground 2 online in 2026
Official service, by platform
Eurogamer, VideoGamer, and NFS-Planet (all 2006-08-07) reported that EA closed PC and Xbox online for this game on 2006-08-01. VideoGamer wrote that the PS2 version was not on that list. GamesIndustry’s later list places the PS2 game, and the PC game again, on 2007-11-01. Why the PC title appears twice was not explained in those articles.

I lined the shutdown articles up against the project homepages on 2026-10-28. When two dates disagreed, both stayed in the table.
Questions
Are the EA servers still up?
No. PC and Xbox closed on 2006-08-01 per three 2006 reports. The PS2 date on the 2007 list is 2007-11-01.
Is Insignia running Underground 2?
Not on the public list checked 2026-10-28. Wikipedia says a 2025-09 announcement named the game. The list and that sentence disagree, so this page follows the list.
