Underground 2NFS Underground 2 on Xbox
Closed, then announced, not listed
Eurogamer, VideoGamer, and NFS-Planet agree that the Xbox version lost EA online on 2006-08-01. Wikipedia says a September 2025 note named Underground 2 as a future Insignia title and called it the first EA game on that service. The public list checked on 2026-10-28 had 213 titles and no Need for Speed row. It already included other EA titles such as Burnout 3, Madden NFL 2005, NASCAR 2005, NCAA Football 2005, and NHL 2005. Because those rows exist, this page does not repeat the “first EA game” claim.
Until the list gains a row, there is no sourced way to play the Xbox disc online through Insignia. This site does not host an ISO or a ROM.
I opened insignia.live/games and counted the titles that were actually listed. An announcement is not the same thing as a row on that list.
Questions
How do I check again?
Open https://insignia.live/games and search the title. A support post that is not on the list is not enough to change this page.
Does the Xbox Series console play the disc online?
No source checked here described backward-compatible Xbox online for this 2004 disc. The retail Xbox service in question is the original Xbox.
