NFSU2 browser ports compared
They are not the same build
Search summaries sometimes treat “NFSU2 Web” and Revived as two products. The GitHub repo nfsu2-web is the build behind nfsu2.xyz. nfsu2.org is a different single-player portal. The PS2 port and Carmeet start from PlayStation 2 assets, not from that PC recompile.
| Project | Career | Other players | Save | Data note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| nfsu2.xyz | Yes | Own servers | Browser, optional passphrase | Page said 1.7 GB preload |
| nfsu2.org | Yes | No | Local JSON export | About 35.5 MB engine, 1.98 GB English data |
| nfsunderground2.site | PS2 career | Rooms of 2 | Virtual .ps2 card | Size not printed. Site is the only source. |
| carmeet.lf.wtf | No races | Shared city, cap 2,000 | Garage, up to 5 cars | 29 cars. Live count not printed. |
Ad scripts: nfsu2.org’s source contained Adsterra references. The other three pages did not show a third-party ad script that morning. “Not seen” is not a promise of zero ads.
I put the four homepages side by side on 2026-10-28. Where a cell says “not printed,” the page I opened did not give that number.
