Is there an Underground 2 remaster?

Stores, then the UE5 demo

Steam and GOG searches on 2026-10-28 did not list a remaster or the original. Notebookcheck covered a UE5 project, 2Unreal5Underground, with a public demo. That article does not say Electronic Arts published it. nfsu2.net’s remaster page, read in the same research pass, also reported no official release as of 2026-10-23. No sourced ship date for an EA edition was found, so none is printed.

I treated “remaster” as a store listing. A trailer that is not on EA’s store stayed in the rumor column.

Modded PC graphics — Community mod footage is sometimes titled like a remaster. It is still the 2004 game.

Widescreen PC footage — Widescreen footage is also the retail game, not a new edition.

Questions

Is the browser version the remaster?

No. Browser projects run the 2004 game, or a PS2-derived port, in a browser. They are not a new EA SKU.

Should I preorder from a clip?

Only if the seller is EA’s own store. A date in a video title is not a release.
